My Brother eats my food! UP!

So I am having a very big problem in my house. My little brother is eating up all of the food I buy to help me stay within my calorie range. Mind you, he isn't big whatsoever. He is around 5'8, 17 and is as lean as a person can be. But he eats up the food I buy so that I don't eat the food in the house that is meant for him. So by the time I go and decide that I want to make myself dinner or something like that everything seems to be gone. And the only things that are left to eat are pizzas, chicken tenders, pizza rolls, you know all the stuff that I am trying my hardest to stay away from. And yeah when my stuff is gone, he turns to his stuff. Yes, I have told him to stay away but there is nothing I can do when he is at home and I am at work. I can't afford to constantly buy food every week, there is a reason I still live at home lol. So what would you do in this situation?

Lick everything you buy in front of him and booby trap a few food items so that he learns to never eat your stuff again. lol

Maybe tell whoever does the grocery shopping that your brother likes healthier food so the money that's spent on pizza pops or whatever could be spent on something healthier so your stash doesn't suffer

i like the idea that who ever buys groceries sould buy more healthy stuff for the entire house since everyone likes it and is willing t eat it it seems to be an easy fix

I'd buy a mini fridge and keep it in my room and lock my door. I know it sounds silly but if he can't respect your food, he is an *kitten*

Well my mama shops for them, I buy my own food with my own money. And I have asked about better healthier food overall but he complains that he likes the junk, so my mama buys the junk.

It's rough when you have a situation like this in the house. I agree with the others who said lock up your food and get a fridge that you keep in your room. It kind of sucks, but it's what you need to do to keep you healthy.

Thanks everyone for the feedback! I am definitely going to try the mini fridge idea and lock my food away. Thanks.

He isn't being very fair to you in that case.

It is a good idea regarding having your own little fridge to lock.

if you try sitting down as a family and dicuss healthy eating maybe you can get everyone on board and help everyone make a healthy lifestyle
