I am 235 and I am allowed 1330-1600. Depending on how much I exercise. I am in for 2 pounds per week.0

My original goal was to get from 145 pounds to 135. Now I'm at 138 and once I hit 135 I'd like to reevaluate my goals, and perhaps lose another 9 pounds.0 -
I'm 127 pounds, 1200 allowed cals unless I exercise.
I would like to be @ 125 but I always screw up when I finally do get there.

I'm at 142 trying to get to 125. I've been doing this a couple of weeks. Not sure if I've lost yet, but I feel better. I'm limited to 1200 calories, too.0

181 trying to be 130. 1200 cals, but I exercise a ton because I just don't have much self control food wise. Lost 5 pounds (hoping to make it six tomorrow).0

currently 223 trying to get to 140-150 and start with 1390 calories a day and of course if I am good and get all my exercise in I get at least another 500-600. This is for a goal of 2 lbs per week.
Also, every 10lbs I recalculate because as you loose weight you will actually get more calories to eat because when you reach your goal weight you will need to maintain, blah blah blah. :happy:0 -
I am 169. Trying to get to 120 lbs. I am allowed 1200 calories (obv. more if I exercise) and I am on 1 1/2 lbs a week projected weight loss.
I just want to be 50 lbs lighter in a year...is that so hard to ask....lol0 -
Started off at 220 and now down to 180, aiming for 140. I'm on the 1200 and after exercise, usually average to keep around 1150 calories a day.0

1200 calories and the scales aren't moving. Turning 50 might have something to do with not dropping the pounds. It's partially holiday weight, and years past I could take care of it more quickly. I read here that I need to change my workouts -- so I'll start doing some weight lifting. This is my first reply -- so it's a test. :flowerforyou:0

i'm 156 and want to be 135-140. i am supposed to be doing 1500cal but i usually do 1200-1300 a day. I'm not really loosing lbs but i'm loosing fat percentage! i lost 10% since christmas0

Can you tell me how much exercise you are doing per day? I am on 1200 calories and I weigh 134 (my goal is 115 also) and I am not losing anything at the moment.0 -
I weigh 150 and am getting down to 135. My BMR Calculations say I should eat at least 1465 Calories a day. And more if I exercise. I find I feel like I function better if I eat that much, and I've lost 3 pound in 2 weeks.0

I was 132, wanted to be 120. Was eating 1200 and when I got to my weight it became 1580.0 -
when I started I was @ 162 aiming for 145. I am 5'9'. I am on 1200 calories a day with 0 exercise and so far I have lost 4 lbs.0

Started 3 weeks ago at 155..I'm now 147.5
I am alloted 1290 per day, but usually go up to 1500

I'm 5'3" at 162 (started at 170) with a goal weight around 140ish - right now my goal is to be in the lower 150s by summer (end of May) I'm allowed 1390 and usually get another 500 from exercise.0

I'm 44, 5'9", started earlier this month at 190, and want to be 145. I'm allowed 1360, unless I add in exercise which I am trying very hard to do regularly.
I have a question-
The majority of people seem only to be allowed 1200, and I'm wondering if when I set up my profile and said my goal was to work out 4 times per week for 30 min. if that was factored in to my daily? Because my weight isn't really budging when I'm not exercising.
I'd like to know what I should eat to lose 1-1/2 lbs per week if I don't exercise, and lead a mildly active or sedentary life.

Okay- just answered my own question.
I went back and created and entered my data without any exercise and it gives me 1220 a day, not 1360!
When I originally entered my info I put down cardio 3 times/week for 30 min. because this was my goal to myself, BUT the calculations figured that in as a base, and assumes that I am doing that. Then, if I exercise beyond that I would enter it in my log!
So....I guess you can only enter exercise above and beyond what you originally listed. Otherwise you'll be eating too much (getting calorie credit twice!).
Bummer, this probably explains my very slow loss. But, I'm pretty hungry often anyway!0 -
I am 135 and want to be 120 to 125. I went up over Christmas... so I'm battling it back down. I'm allowed 1200 cal unless I exercise. But here's the thing... I exercise a LOT and I'm not losing. I'm usually under my total calories alotted for the day.0
