Will I have tons of excess skin?

I have been using MFP for awhile and 
it! 24lbs down so far and I know this is my year! I can feel it! I got nervous recently though. I have heard a lot of talk about losing weight and having tons of flabby skin. After looking into it I found out that skin removal surgery is around $10,000! I am 5'7 and 230. I want to be around 150. My highest weight was 255. Anyone have any experiences with 100lbs off at this height? What did your stomach look like? I don't have 10grand to pay for this sort of surgery and unless the skin causes problems my insurance wont cover it
