What should my activity level be?

Hi everyone, I'm struggling to figure out where I should "set" my activity level and would love your help. I walk to and from work each day, which is about a mile each way. I don't count it as exercise because I've always done it. I have a desk job, but I am up, down, and going from office to office a fair amount. Sometimes I walk between other buildings, which probably adds up to another 0.5 - 1 mile all told. I've started working out regularly, but I count that exercise and eat those calories back. Where should I set my "activity level"? It's been set at "lightly active" but I'm starting to wonder if that's right. Thanks in advance!

I'd probably leave it at lightly active. I am basically a waitress, but I keep mine at lightly active. I don't want to over eat anything, but if I do track my exercise calories, I will eat some of them back just to even it out.0

I'd leave it at lightly active and see how you go after a month or so - if you have been sticking to your recommended calories but losing weight faster or slower than you expect then you can change things around.0
