Exercise and Massage

Hey all - I know my knowledgeable MFP friends can help me with this one.....
I have a massage scheduled for this evening. I am wanting to incorporate a monthly massage into my lifestyle on a regular basis because of it's health benefits.
I plan to workout this evening about 3-4 hours before my massage for about an hour. Just walking on the treadmill easy does it. No weights, dancing or anything too vigorous.
Is it "okay" to get receive a massage post-workout? I've read good and bad in my research and I know I can get way more input and life experience from MFP. If I keep the workout low-key is that more "okay" or does it really matter?
Any personal experience...... What are your thoughts? Thanks
