Well, I think we all have some catchin up and 'fessin up to do here....
I'll go first....this week has been AWFUL for me... terrible food choices, sweet tea in place of water, and :noway: no exercise...yes, you read that right...:noway: no exercise.... The time change has kicked my butt, but it will not win...Today is a new day and while my breakfast choice wasn't the greatest, I'm going to the store later today and stock up on all the healthy stuff and I have a training session this afternoon...:drinker:
Just goes to show that life can trip us up at times...but the choice comes in whether we will stay knocked down or rise above it to where we want to be!!! :flowerforyou:

Last week wasn't my finest...ate out quite a bit (and didn't make the best choices), chips were involved too , but I managed to get back on track this week. The past 2 days have been great and I have gotten in some great workouts. I'm 2 days out from my 30th b-day and feeling good about it...in the best shape I have been in the last 5 years. WooHoo!!!! Not so thrilled my baby is 10 months old today:sad: :sad: :sad:

No exercise here either - actually no food either - I've had the stomach flu and done nothing but sleep since Sunday. I was able to eat a bit yesterday and doing ok so far today. I was down 5.5 pounds with this bug but I won't count it til weigh in next week since I am pretty much dehydrated.
T - you are a trooper and will continue to fight!

I have done alright this week. I havn't been able to get to the gym, but have walked everyday to the bank and post office from work instead of driving...a good choice atleast I'm not thinking that the 5 pound loss is going to happen for the challenge, but hopefully close!
I know this is early...but are there any other challenges going to start after this one? I just know i've done better knowing that I have to post how i'm doing haha.0 -

Good luck getting back on the healthy wagon today, even if it means kicking the sweet tea to the curb. *pout* You can do it! You've done so well so far!
Kelly - Don't our babies know that they have to stop this "getting older" crap?! T's b.day is inching closer & closer & I feel an anxiety attack coming on. ACK! I know what you mean about being in the best shape in so long. I don't even think I was in this good of shape in high school. Sure, I weighed 10# less than this, but I didn't have near the stamina or muscle tone that I do now! YAY for us!!

Well...my ticker moved yesterday for my "offical" wednesday weigh-in...and then moved MORE this morning! Enough to make me think I need to check the batteries & enough to think that perhaps the universe is screwing with me. It read "145.0". You know...as in my GOAL WEIGHT?! WHAAAAT?! Holy junk, I about jumped out of my skin. I haven't changed my ticker yet b/c I want to make sure it sticks, but YAYAYAYAY! I hope it stays, I hope it stays, I hope it stays! I'm so dang excited!:bigsmile:0 -

This group started as a Valentine's Day challenge & then morphed into a St. Patty's challenge. Perhpas we could do an Easter challenge as well? I don't think we're going anywhere!

Great job on making healthier choices in the midst of everyday activities!!! Well, even if you don't make your intended goal, at least you are moving in the right direction...

Monday-stuck with my calories but no exercise (unless you count driving around in a golfcart )
Tuesday- calories good, 30 minute walk pushing a wheelchair with a client in it, BUT.. hurt my knee that was already bothering me.
Wednesday- woke to my knee swelled and a pretty purple color, calories good, no exercise
Today- well who knows what today will bring, I work this afternoon and trust me that is a workout just not the kind we count on here. My knee is still swelled and still pretty and purple, so who knows!
I weighed myself just to make sure the no exercise hadn't made me gain and so far I've maintained this week's weight loss so that is good!
Hope everyone has a great day...and no sweet tea....*cough* T *cough* (sweet tea is the enemy..but oh gosh how I love it's liquid torture... )0 -

Sara...LOL about high school. I was just telling DH I would love to fit into my old Cheerleading uniform and be out on the sidelines another Friday night cheering on the football team. A girl can dream, right?! I'll just cross my fingers that at least one of these three boys I have play football. My endurance rocked at that point... I can get back there. As far as weighing 105 like I did in high school I don't see that happening:laugh:
