Alcohol or not...

I am currently doing a raw foods detox to help kick start my diet (I plan to kick out grains and sugars mostly because they make me sick and fat). I am on day 9 of nothing but whole fruits, vegetables and nuts. I feel pretty acomplished right now, but am faced with a dilema. Tonight I am going out with my husband and I would LOVE to have a drink. I have sworn off soda, and wine has not always agreed with me in the past...so I hate to ruin a good night with wine. So I was considering seltzer water, vodka and lemon. I don't drink very often, but when I am socializing I like to...but I don't want to completely derail myself either, or get sick. Any advice in this area would be awesome!

    I usually have a gin and diet tonic or a vodka and cranberry. Big glass, extra ice. The gin and diet tonic with lime is 58 calories and no carbs. I have a friend that is a personal trainer and these were her recommendations to me and I have kept on track when I indulged. Hope you have a fun night!
