I replied on a post but saw that was this am so thought I would ask on a new topic.

Im not sure if Im doign this right after reading some posts about eating your excercise cals back.

I enter all the food im going to eat for the day and the workout im goign to do at night to see how many cals ill burn and throughout the day i eat all those calories.
So mainly i eat all my calories and my workout cals throught the day before I even workout.

Is this ok to do? I work out anywhere starting at 6pm or 730 pm and dont want to eat a lot after. I do although have my protien shake right after my workout which i have already put on my food diary for that day so that already accounted for.

Hope that makes sense
Please help and let me know if this is wrong
Thanks yall

I do it that way too. I workout in the evenings usually, so I'm not going to wait and then eat back 3-600 cals at night, that wouldn't ork at all for me.

Nope, you're good. The only danger is that if you eat all your food and then don't do the exercise. But you sound like that's not an issue for you

No i go to the gym every night and If i know im not I stick to the cals I eat normally and not the extra. Also its kinda nice to enter a workout im goign that night and if I do extra min on the treadmill or eliptical or lift I add that and see the difference.
    Thanks Yall!!

this is me!! I never log exercise ahead of time, cuz psychlogically i feel trapped. If i log it afterwards then I get a bonus of extra calories I get to have at dinnertime! but if I worked out after dinner that wouldn't work-:flowerforyou:

I dont use the comp at home.. it is ridiculously slow so i can never be bothered to wait for it to load... i fill everything out at the begining of the day so i know what to do.. and if i do more then thats a bonus!!

if i know im not gonna go to the gym ill stick to my 'normal' cals...
