Lay flat on your back, arms at your side (not under your bum) and lift your legs (keep them straight!) 10cm (4 inches) off the ground and see how long you can hold.

PLEASE do not try this if you have a bad lower back!!! There are a LOT of ways to strengthen your core without putting added stress on your back.0

That's true. The other day I was out Bodyboarding and there was a guy on a longboard doing pushups on his board between sets. I was impressed to say the least.0
