My boyfriend is a bit apprehensive.

My boyfriend is supportive of us losing weight together, but he was riding to Uni 30km a day, and had a good eating menu, and only lost two kilos. He's about 93kg. So he's a bit reserved about getting his hopes up for 'getting buff' and losing weight with me.
We've been eating well together, and walking, and doing aerobics and stuff when we gets to see each other.
Any suggestions on how to get his hopes up, or at least out of his funk?
