Learning about Healthy eating

Greetings all!

A couple years ago I lost 45 pounds following the South Beach Diet and doing about 30 minutes of exercise daily (mostly Wii Fit Step :-)). I started at 245 and got to my lowest of 194. I have had a few ups and downs in the last couple years but I have mostly maintained (198 today). I want to get down to 180-185 which apparently gets me into the normal range.

For the last three months I have been working out on my Bowflex at least 5 times a week and I can feel the improvement. However I took the plunge and I am going to start P90X Lean tomorrow.

MFP has been great to keep track of calories but for me it has been very eye opening to see what is in the food I eat. I am much more aware of what I eat now. It has been great addition.
