In home cardio

Hi guys, I'm trying to burn off these extra pounds from the holidays so when summer rolls around im not 20 Lbs heavier xD.
Due to the weather and temp outside im not able to 'just go for a run' ( mind you i havent done continuous cardio since running in high school years ago) and a gym membership is too costly for me, what are some good indoor cardios that i could do to get cut before the warm weather comes?
and also i was wondering if its still beneficial to splot my workouts up during the day? EX. do 2 sets of strength training and/or cardio at one point of the day, and come back later and do another 2 or 3 sets, also can i do this with ab exersises?

Type "workout dvds" into the search bar and you'll find a million threads that give some great workout videos that are cheap and you can do at home.
Most of them are things like Jillian Michael's 30 day shred (only a 20 minute workout), p90x, insanity, etc.0
