I'm kind of on the fence about my "lifestyle".

I'm a middle school teacher and on my feet during the day, but I also do some sitting at times, like when I'm on the computer planning.

I had it at "Lightly Active" as I don't think I spend the majority of the day sitting, then I moved it to Sedentary because I didn't want to be overeating, but I'm thinking I need to put it back to lightly active, because I'm pretty hungry at times and I think it is because I'm doing a lot more moving then I'm accounting for during the day.

Thoughts?

    Hi,
I am also a teacher/media specialist, so I have my settings set on lightly active as well. I think we do more walking than we realize as we are moving around the classroom. Definitely NOT a job where you are on your behind all day, that is for sure!

    Hi!
I'm a middle school math teacher. I put slightly active too. I think I'm pretty active at work, but from the description, I chose slightly active. I think our bodies get used to our activity level, so the impact on weight loss is small.

If you are hungry all the time, I would suggest increasing your calories a bit. You can customize your goals.

Friend me if you want... we teachers need to stick together:laugh:

I take sedentary as being someone who literally sits at a desk all day, or sits at home all day. If you're going to set to sedentary, then you should plug in all of your activity - walking around, cleaning, exercise, etc. Lightly active is probably a better choice.
