I weigh about 235 pounds and want to drop down to 145 eventually. I'm 18 and fairly young and have tight skin. Will I still have flabby skin after weight loss? Is it permament? What can I do to fix it or avoid it?

Hi. Everyone's body will be different. My grandmother birthed 9 children and never kept the weight on and had no strretch marks. I only have one child and when I lost the 60 out of 75 pounds I gained, I had saggy skin only on the lower part of my stomach. The top of my stomach does well. The best advice I can give you from personal experience is to do some weights or toning with your exercise routine. Weight training helps build muscle.0

This is what worries me too, so I'm aiming to lose slowly (3 or 4 lb a month) so my poor stretched skin has time to catch up with me! You are a lot younger than me (41) so your skin should still be nice and elastic. Agree with the toning exercises, and think that hydrated skin copes with size changes better, so keep drinking the water!0
