Decent priced heart rate monitor

I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can get a good HRM at a decent price. I'm looking around the Internet, and I'm not willing to spend 100 dollars on something I've never used before and have no clue how it works, but I'd like to be able to keep track of my calories burned, instead of relying on what Mfp says.
