Sugar Rush?

Hi Everyone,
I'm new here and have a quick question regarding my sugar intake. Based on what MFP has calculated for my daily intake, I'm allowed 24Grams of sugar daily. One banana alone is 24g of sugar and I tend to eat one or two bananas everyday, I also eat other fruits as well so I am always over this 24g allowance :( !! Does this slow down weight loss? Should I reduce my fruit intake?
My 1st weigh-in is on Monday so I'm really hoping for a huge change.
