31.6 pounds gone!

I was way to scared to take pictures in the beginning! So I have no pictures, but I have lost 31.6 pounds. I know it is not much and nowhere near what I need to lose, but here is what I have gained from losing! I have noticed that simple tasks such as going up the stairs at my parents house and at my apartment, tying my shoes, and walking around campus have gotten much easier. I can also walk from my car to work (about 2 blocks) without being winded. I can get up off the floor at the daycare without crawling to something and having to use my arms and legs to get up. I can sit in the smallest chairs at work, and actually stand up out of them. I wore a pair of jeans yesterday and they were baggy by the time I took them off last night, before I would wear them 3 times without washing them and they were still tight! It isn't much but it feels amazing! So happy that I have the support from MFP to help me with my journey!

Even on my "not-so-good/bad" days, I always log, no matter what! I have found that when I weigh, even though the scale might show more or the same, I still track that I weighed myself! Keeps me motivated! So do the wonderful people on here. I appreciate all of my support!

Great Job. I am on that kind of journey also, I have joined a fund raiser in my community call Quinte's Biggest Loser. I just won a trainer and gym membership for 12 weeks. I hope to see the pounds keep falling off. Good luck in your journey.

Oh my goodness! I would love personal training for 12 weeks! I would be so pumped! My little brother and I go to the same college and he is a Health and Human Performance major; he said that he would be willing to help me out! He likes to bulk up, and I just want to tone up. I told him that I don't want to be the incredible hulk! ;)

I don't want to be a hulk either, She should help me with Cardio, flexiblity, and strength. Had an Aqua Fit class last night. It was fun to have someone push you. If I win the contest I would win a gym membership for one year and a make over. Keep your fingers crossed.

Thanks! Good luck with your trainer as well! I know that my brother will push me. He has lost a lot of weight, and we have both struggled with weight our whole lives. I don't know if I could ever do this without the love and support of my friends on MFP though! Without it, there is no way this would happen!
