Okay. I bought them using the advice from a friend who says they're "the bomb" but now that I have them...what do I do with them?

mix in with your smoothie, mix in with oatmeal, or yogurt.

They are tasteless. Extra fiber in your diet. plus antioxidants.

You can even mix them in with sauces.

You can put 1 tablespoon in a portion of yogourt or cottage cheese (but let sit for about 15 minutes to they moisten), you can use them in muffins, pancakes, add them to your cereal.

Sprinkle them on EVERYTHING. They are tasteless and full of anti-inflammatory "heart healthy" Omega 3's.

The cool thing about chia seeds is that they are mucagelatinous (sp?). That just means if you add water and leave them, they become gel like. So you can make fruit like "puddings". Just google chia seed pudding recipes!

But the easiest way is to sprinkle on salads, oatmeal, etc.

Enjoy - they are SO good for you and blessedly tasteless.

I add mine to my oatmeal every morning...

1 chopped apple mixed with cinnamon and heated in the microwave...

    top with:
    1/4 cup oats
    2 Tbsp oat bran
    1 Tbsp chia
1 cup of water (less depending on the consistency you want)

nuke for 1 min, then stir, then another minute or so, to desired doneness.

top the whole big bowl with natural PB and greek yogurt and you're set! it's a fabulous filling breakfast with great macros!

otherwise, use it in baking or sprinkle it on anything you like. smoothies are a good idea as well. but oats, those are the trick
