Anyone using 5 hour energy to wake up in the morning so that they can workout? I am thinking of putting it by my bed and drinking it right as the alarm is going off. Anyone had experience with this? What's the best flavor?

Don't use that stuff!!! it's not good for you, don't fall for all that hype, it will work but it will make your HR go up and you talking about working out too, thats going to bump up your HR even more, not safe if you ask me. Then you run into the risk of always depending on it to get going and when you don't have it your body will crash, you wont be able to do anything until you get your fix, yeah its almost like a drug..people won't say that but they always say "yeah that stuff really works" but never tell you everything.

I'm not going to go ape**** like some people saying it will kill you or something, but make sure your body won't react poorly. And perhaps don't become dependent on it. I once tried working out very early, and didn't eat soon enough before, but had a 5 Hour Energy. My stomach felt terrible. Horrible pains. Could just be the lack of food, but typically just not eating won't do that to me.

It does work, but I think you will only feel the benefit of it if your body is really needing it. I used to use it when I worked midnights, and was living on only 3hrs of sleep 6 days a week, and believe me it worked...but my body was in total shut down. WARNING, this stuff is highly addictive. If you don't need things like this, don't use it. Not that caffeine isn't addictive, but it is much safer.
***Try a high energy food instead.

I use 5 hour energy before night shifts sometimes. They don't do much more than a cup of coffee and they cost a whole lot more.

ive used it before for gaming sessions - WoW expansion release night - i think i drank two and it kept me goin for about 16 hours longer than id normally be able to go. i dont use them on a regular basis though. coffee works for days i need a little extra boost in the morning, but i dont drink that every day either
