Ok, so I have been on MFP continuously since 1st Jan this year. In my first week I lost 5 1/2 lbs (which I understand was mostly, if not all of my water weight). I have had 1 bad meal this week due to a family outing and this week I haven't lost a thing. Will 1 meal really make that much of a difference?

I do a little bit of training (30DS) each day so I'm trying to tell myself that I haven't lost any weight but my measurements have changed (even though I haven't actually taken any measurements yet :-).....but with training for only 2 weeks am I just kidding myself with this 'muscle weighs more than fat' scenario?

I just don't want to get too disheartened after 2 weeks when I've done so wel...really need some kinda explanation :-)

you can not gain muscle on a calorie deficit.

and yes, one meal can ruin all your hard work depending on many calories it was, and how much of a deficit you are on anyways..but its more likely just regular weight fluctuations we all get.
