Need encouragement w/ my "Mom Body"

When I delivered my son I was 245 lbs, I nursed and got down to 155 lbs. Although for the last 8-9 months I've been flucuating between 160-168 lbs. I'm 5'3". Genetics weren't the greatest gift from my mother, so I have stretch marks that outlined my ribcage down to my pelvic bone, I have some on my lovehandles, and wrap around my back a little. I know they will fade over time. Although my concern is getting a flatter stomach, you'd never be able to see a 6 pack anyway.

My husband is attempting to be encourage because he knows I'm insecure about my stomach/strechmarks. He says I can tighten up all that loose skin, I think he's giving me a false sense of home.

I'm currently 159, I'd like to get to 140. Most importantly to me I'd like to get into a size 7/8 pant and medium tops.

Has anyone had any experience w/ this? Positive results? Improvement? I'm planning to get the 30 day shred to help with the inches.

    Hi,
I am a mom of two, and got stretch marks with #2. I have lost 40 lbs in the past year and my stomach has shrunk a great deal.
Instead of focusing on the negatives, focus on the positives. Workout to get healthier, to be in better shape, to be a better mom..... those positive outlooks will help you see all of the wonderful, positive changes your body will go through. It will help keep you from obsessing over your stomach. You will probably shrink your stomach, and the stretchmarks will fade, but if you only focus on your stomach you will have a hard time seeing all of you other improvements.
    Good luck!

    p.s. I did the 30DS, and I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have done so well, be happy and proud

Not everyone can do what you did

I have seen enough pics on this site to know it can be done

I am 5'2, started at 160, currently 136, looking to get to 120

I guess what I was looking for was if anyone else had great results in a similar situation.

I just want to know what is possible.
