Because my calorie deficit is 500 does that mean that if I dont exercise and eat just my calorie amount of 1200 i'll still loose the weight?

Yes, you will lose weight by cutting calories only, but you do so much better for yourself when you add in exercise. Not only will you benefit your heart and lungs by exercising daily, you will also get a more toned appearance.
