Bounce to my step. The good kind!

I realized yesterday (As I was carrying my bird out from his mani-pedi) that I have a bounce to my step that has been gone a very long time. I don't mean the uncontrollable jiggle that has haunted me these 12 years. You know, the one that makes you walk a little slower so you don't shake the wobbly bits and scare the kids. I felt yesterday like I was thinner, stronger and wearing some muscle that his been covered in fat for far too long! As the pounds come off and the muscle emerges, it makes me feel strong and I think that feeds my confidence. Yeah, I still am overweight and that knowledge robs the self-confidence too, but that being said, I am pretty sure I could hold my own in an arm wrestle-(with a hobbit, perhaps) or something-you get it. Most important is that my belly is not as gelatinous as before and I cannot wait until the last wobbly bit is gone......That will be my big day and an ah-ha moment!

I post this becasue I woke up feeling bored with all this controllable eating and a little down but I remembered the way I felt yesterday and I thought, wow, that was cool and I really felt better.

Cheers people!-we are on our way to better health and better times. Stick with it!

I agree fully !!! I notice the small things too.. like being able to walk in the stores and talk to my hubby at the same timewithout being out of breath.. or even walk as fast as he does in the stores without telling him "slow down". Keep up the great work ! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:
