Just a little background: I used to work out regularly doing P90X and Insanity everyday last year up until October when I got married. So I decided to start back up this year on none other than Jan 1st! So I've been going to the gym everyday since then....except I missed two days :frown:
My problem is my diet. If you look at my diary you'll see what I'm eating and on some days it seems like ALOT  You'll also noticed that the bulk of my foods are carbs. Can anyone provide any helpful tips, websites, recipes....anything that will help me control my carbs! Thanks.

Carbs are an essential part of a healthy diet.

If you'd like tips on eating fewer of them, though, try poking around these groups:

Looking at your diet you prob should up protein and fats, esp fats since you keep them pretty low. But as along as you are getting in adequate protein and fats, no need to worry about carbs

    more lean proteins and fatty foods like;

    eggs

    chicken

    full fat diary

    steak

    fish

    avocados

etc are all low in carbs

No I really wasn't following any diet at the aside from just monitoring what i ate. I wouldn't say that I was eating all that healthy then either. Should carbs compose more of your diet than protein?

Here is how I control my carbs. First, I make sure I meet my protein goals (30% of my calories or 90g a day), then I make sure I have just enough healthy fats (no more than 40g a day) and everything else can be carbs. BUT, if I want to feel full, I make those carbs mostly veggies because they are filling and low calorie.

Preplan your meals until you know how much the things you really like have in them. For example, I can't have pancakes and pasta on the same day, too many carbs. I can have one or the other. Today, I had a macadamia cookie and am over on carbs and under on protein. Oops!

    Hope this helps.

not sure what your goals are....get leaner? your protein is a bit low for me...and I would cut out the cereals in your diet and add some protein and fat

chicken breast...olive oil...salmon..tuna...cheese (whole,..not reduced fat) for example

    fage greek yogurt is great.

Focus on complex carbs like veggies and fruits, stay away from carbs that are white flour carbs such as pastas, breads, etc. It makes a bit of difference, make sure you have protein in every meal.
