I have been drinking so much water lately (usually around 128 - 144oz/daily) yet I have been so bloated. Is it the water causing the bloat or something else? Is there a way to relieve it?

Thanks :)

Personally, I don't think the water is bloating you. I drink about a gallon and 1/2 a day. I drink distilled water. I have been told only to drink distilled......

can I ask you why only distilled water? I know it can be better for flushing toxins from your body but this was a print out we received on the subject at my studio.

The more distilled water you consume in your body, the more the body absorbs carbon dioxide. A regular intake of distilled water, in the long term, can also cause a fast loss of electrolytes in your body, which include sodium, potassium, chloride, etc.

This also includes minerals such as magnesium. In all, deficiencies in these areas can lead to an irregular heart beat and high blood pressure.

Are you watching how much sodium you are taking in ?I try to keep my sodium around 1500mg a day.I don't believe the water is causing you to bloat.

Hello-- SpongeMarla here-- the more I drink, the more I bloat...and I watch my sodium like a hawk.

I think your body will tell you how much water you need-- I have laid off it for a month now, and my bloating symptoms this month were much better.

Sodium and water in combination would be my guess.

Thank you all so much. I looked at my sodium intake on here and I didn't realize how much I was taking in. I really need to keep it in check!
