So, the season of the sport i play is almost starting...and im torn between trying to lose more weight before season starts, or gain muscles...
but in order to put on muscles, id have to eat more protein...and proteins are calories...and losing weight is already as difficult as it is,,,
any suggestions?

So if you eat more calories in protein, eat fewer in carbs and fats.....basically, it's calories in vs. calories out.

What is most important to YOU?
Excelling as an athlete or looking good with less fat?
Can't have both; you must decide.
If it were me, I'd choose athletic performance over anything else, and I did back when I competed.
You're only young once, so I say get with your coach and do whatever will make you the best athlete.
Again, the choice is yours. Who knows your heart better than you?0
