First two weeks

Hello all!

I am just starting my third week of MFP and loving it! Whilst I have gone over (only very slightlly) on one or two occasions, generally I have been very good and often come in around 50 calories under the limit each day.

I am on 1300 calories a day, but I have had a strange pattern with weight loss, and wondered if anyone had had anything similar? The first week I weighed in at losing 7lbs, which I thought was an awful lot. However, was happy to accept the results! When I weighed in yesterday (end of second week) I had put on 2lbs?! It just seems a bit strange. I guess 5lbs overall is still very good in two weeks, but it was just surprising to put on 2lbs!

  • It's just water and/or normal fluctuations due to hormonal changes.

    Thank you for the reply.....that makes sense, actually! Hopefully I'll have a bit of a better weigh in this week! :)
