1 can (14-1/2 oz.) Italian-style diced tomatoes, undrained
2 cups multi-grain penne pasta, uncooked
1 cup water
1 pkg. (9 oz.) baby spinach leaves (7 cups)
1 cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Italian* Three Cheese Blend

BRING tomatoes, pasta and water to boil in large saucepan; stir. Cover; simmer on medium-low heat 10 min. or just until pasta is tender.

ADD 1/2 of spinach; simmer, covered, 2 min. or until wilted. Stir. Repeat with remaining spinach.

SERVE topped with cheese.

Makes: 6 servings, 1 cup each

Special Extra

    Today, these are from kraftfoods.com... I get their magazine Food&Family so I post the ones that appeal to me on here. Site it GREAT though.

    My goodness here you go again! This sounds so good and I already transfered it to my recipe book. Lookiing forward to making it later this week. Also thanks for the infomation on those recipes sites you sent to me. I use one yesterday to look up the calories on the florinine lasagna out of Rachael Ray cook book I mentioned to you.     I made this tonight! It was good and soooooooooo easy.

    I put it under Homemade Pasta w/spinach and tomatoes (or similar to that) and calculated everything based on weight.

    These are the nutrition values I came up with for four servings

    This was soooooo yummy!!! We had it for dinner tonight, plus have leftovers for tomorrow!! It was so good and filling!! Thanks for posting it! It is definitely going into my regular rotation....delicious and so easy!!

    I made this for my mom and dad and husband they all liked it (even though it was healthy) my mom requested it for the next pot luck--really easy to make and even better as left overs--

    I made this last night with rigatoni noodles, it was fantastic!! I added a bit of garlic and onion powder for a bit for flavour as well. It even got a picky man's approval :wink:

    i just made this tonight and I added 3 chicken sausage links (kind of like a brat) I bought at sams club and added garlic salt crushed red pepper flakes and 1/4 cup of pizza sauce. It was awesome!!! I did the math and with my additions, it equaled out to 5 servings, 331 calories a serving.

    what kind of multi-grain pasta do you use? Every time I try to serve my family anything but white pasta, it gets rejected!

    I made this tonight -used spaghetti noodles and added some chicken breasts. Yummy stuff. I bet this would also be good with shrimp. Mmmmm.
