Quinoa or Couscous - which is better? in terms of everything.. calories, protein and fats etc etc..

    Both are high in calories but high in protein as well.. just wondering which is healthier or better option, anyone knows more about it?

    Quinoa- my husband will eat it, but can't stand couscous!

    here's a comparison.

    I love quinoa and it's generally better your you but I like couscous, just remember it's similar to pasta.

    I have read few blogs and everywhere it says Quinoa is better in every sense.. thanks guys!

    I LOVE both of these. However, from what I've read... couscous is more of a "pasta" and quinoa is whole grain-like, which makes it healthier for you - as it has more vitamins and minerals. I'll still eat both, BUT more quinoa for sure!

    Quinoa for sure - it's a complete protein! Couscous is basically just little balls of pasta.

    I was in a habbit of eating cous cous.. dint know its a form of Pasta :huh:
    but from now on.. its Quinoa!

    Quinoa is a seed and, according to Dr Oz, should be treated as a protein. It is also a low glycemic food while coucous on the other hand is a high glycemic food. My vote is quinoa.
