A Better Life

Hey everyone,
I just thought I would pop in here and announce to the whole world that I would love to lose some more weight, but I think my focus is more on a better life style. I have a very busy schedule every day and I need to focus on taking care of myself and my daughter more than losing weight.
I also think I started this thing off wrong. When I began my initial weight was about 190 pounds, but that was going off of the doctor's scale because mine broke. Needless to say, I bought me a new scale and found out that I weigh 174.0 pounds today! I am not sure if that is a good thing, but I am feeling pretty good that I don't weigh as much as I thought I did. The bad news is that my program has changed because of my drastic change in weight. So, this should be interesting.
My goal is to wake up every morning at 6:00 AM, do my exercises for an hour and then get ready for the day. I remember when I used to do this solid for three weeks, and I felt great. Of course, at the time, I didn't have a job and I could sleep in as long as I wanted to.
Now, with the job I have, I am at work by 9:00, which means I have to be up by 7 just to get my daughter and I ready for the day.
I am also going to try to be in bed by 11:00 PM. This will leave me with 7 hours of sleep. Does anyone know if that is enough sleep? I think I am going to have to do some research on that one.:ohwell:
Anyway, I just thought I would tell one and all about my new attitude and changes.
What do you think?
