Training programs offered by the Running Room

Hi everyone,
A friend and I are thinking of signing up for a 10-week "Learn to Run" clinic offered by the Running Room. I'd love to hear some feedback from anyone who has participated in any Running Room training program. What should we expect? Did the program help you? Did it meet your expectations? Thanks!

Um...I have never taken such a class but I have had nothing but bad experiences with the Running Room. I don't care much for their corporate structure, mission statement and/or their customer service.
that's my opinion.0 -
I have never heard of the Running Room so I can't really comment directly. But I know a lot of people who have done a C25K (couch to 5K) program for introduction to running and they all love it. You can get that kind of program on-line and I think there are versions that work on certain phones/MP3 players. It's audio with music that tells you when to run and when to walk. Most of my friends liked it because they didn't look at how long (time) they would run each session & just listened to the audio- sort of tricks you into running longer and longer without really realizing it. If you don't mind watching your watch- then I'm sure you could find a program that would explain how long to do the intervals each session.
Hope you can glean something out of my babbling. I'll do anything to add another 'runner' to the club of us addicts!0
