is it bad to be over on fiber and protein? i was just wondering i have been trying to put more protein and fiber in my diet but i have been way over.. i was over on carbs today thats a bad thing,but also with protein and fiber.:flowerforyou:

    Not bad. Unless you are regularly real far over on your fiber and it starts to bother you. I think those are both set low.

    MFP's protein and fibre intakes are quite low, it's ok to be over. But if you're increasing your fiber do it slowly, too much too quickly will cause gas, bloating and constipation which is really no fun... I speak from experience :grumble:

    my fiber and protein have always been over. i'm pretty sure MFP has it too low. fat and carbs are the things i would be most worried about.

    I only use MFP as a basic guide ....I think I tend to be over on plenty of things but Im pretty firm on my sodium,carbs and sugars,fats.....just my opinion the fats and carbs you should try to stay pretty close to the daily requirements

    thanks for all ur input i will keep in my about to much fiber to fast, i have been eating those fiber one bars those r pretty good.:tongue:
