chicken noodle soup recipe

I have an orzo recipe that calls for 1 dry pkg. of liptons chicken noodle soup... how do you find the calories for just the one package?

not sure. when I make chicken soup I make it from scratch.

There's 280 calories in the whole packet.

Maybe instead of dry soup mix you can just add a chicken bouillon? But I am pretty sure the box should probably state what is in one packet...although you might have to do some math.

Why not use a whole chicken or chicken parts for the stock. You get the stock and chicken, not to mention it's the healthier choice.

this is what I do.... we make our stock from the left over of the whole chicken. much healthier.... no additives.
