Hormones in Chicken

I am so frustrated with trying to eat healthy without spending a fortune. I know that in order to ensure you have no chemically altered chicken you must buy organic. But who can afford it??? I heard that the growth hormones we are eating in our meats are also contributing to our personal weight gain. Is there any truth to this?:noway:

Growth hormones have been baned for quite some time in Canada and I think it's the same in the USA. Anyway I get my organic chicken locally and it isn't much different in price.0
