Hi
Just so I am totally clear on what I am doing can someone advise please. My normal calories is 2000 and my goal for 1lb per week weight loss is 1500. I'm classed as sedentary.

Just so I am clear, I expect I can still take in 2000 as long as I then exercise and burn 400-500 calories. On days I don't exercise I should just take in the 1500.

Am I right in my thinking? Any help much appreciated.

One more thing, surely if I start training 3 times a week I'm then classed as lightly active and my calories should increase?

If you eat back the calories you burn through exercise, and gain extra calories by changing it to "lightly active", then you're compensating for the exercise twice.
