Hi all,
I'm training for my first half marathon. It's April 1st in Chicago. I'm so pumped!! I'm following Hal Higdon's half marathon training plan. I used his program for my 15k this past fall as well! I was wondering if anybody else is training for a run for the new year?!! We should all encourage each other through the process!! Good Luck to you all!! Feel free to add me!!

Welcome! There a lot of runners here! Look in groups...
add me, I am training for 1/2 marathon in April, in NYC and than another one in Wildwood, NJ in Aug. I have been running for a while now, but will uses a training program from runnersworld, 10 weeks prior to the race...right now I run about 20-25 miles per week on average.
This cold weather is not my friend :grumble: but I did go out and run 6 miles yesterday in the 0* windchill, it was miserable but I got it done0 -
i am 10k run for cancer june 2. i havent ran in over 5 years lol so im doing a couch to 10k 14 week program to get my prepped feel free to add me0

I am training for my first half, but it isn't until October! If I am ready, I may try one in April, but my goal is really Oct.0

I had planned so much competitive running and now with this torn hamstring i just cant. It's SO sad! I'm working on getting back to running competitively again. One day!0

I have a half scheduled at the end of Feb., a 10 miler in March, Half in April and then a full in May.

I am hoping to run in the Cleveland 1/2 Marathon in May then the Akron 1/2 Marathon in September. This will be my first time to run a 1/2.0
