anxiety and working out

I've been very anxious this morning because I am waiting for a call from our real estate agent to find out if there are any pending offers on the house we are very interested in. While I was waiting I decided to work out on my bike trainer, but had to stop after just 10 minutes because my heart felt like it was pounding out of my chest and I was very tired.
Granted, I could still be exhausted since my four mile walk yesterday, but I think mostly its due to my current anxiety. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it best that I stopped or should I have kept going?

do you meditate? it isnt hard or complex it is really just quieting the mind
when distracted by something like the house deal...it can cause anxiety...with some simple meditation (redirecting your focus) you can put it in perspective and get some control of it...sometimes our thoughts can "run riot" and a little focus can help
it works for me0 -

Yep, it's anxiety. The best way to manage this, in my personal experience with severe anxiety, is to breathe. Sounds simple, right? Not easy when you're in the midst of an anxiety attack.
In through the nose, out through the nose or mouth, your choice. Slow counts of three each way. :flowerforyou:
If this happens again during exercise, try that breathing. I bet you don't have to stop.0
