40 by 40 *Newbie*

Hi ~ I go by LJ and I am new to MyFitnessPal. I am doing a 100 day fitness/health challenge at work and found this website for support (and for counting my calories as I go)
My short-term goal is 40 by 40 (mid-simmer) And I can't wait to get going. I did WW before with some decent results (I hit 10% and then due to medication changes I shot right back up)
After my first day, I am just disappointed because I did not max my recommended calorie count. But I am going to try to eat some healthy snacks throughout the day the rest of the week.
Looking forward to this new adventure ~ any other late 30-girls around 5'8" that started in their 220's that have any tips? OR anybody else for that matter, I am just getting started!
