i woke up feeling a bit average yesterday but i thought id be alright i had a big day planned
off i went and swam 30 laps of the olympic size pool then met up with my mum and did a 7km walk around the lake, unfortunately i then got stuck waiting in the car in the sun for 2 hours as my fiance had an emergency at work and couldnt get out
by the time i got home last night i had to force my self to eat and then fall into bed where i tossed and turned for hours feeling like i was on fire :(
i feel stupid for doing so much yesterday now..
but then i planned out my meals for today and felt i really should still do something today
fevers gone just feeling achy and tired
so i did as much of my fitness ball dvd as i could modifying where things where to sore
what do you do when your sick?

i have not been sick enough to not work out, and I actually attribute that fact to the fact that I work out so much.

If you're feeling under the weather then don't exercise. Your body needs the rest to recover.

Unless i have something in the chest, I exercise. It normally makes me feel better.

fever = go to bed and rest
sniffles or minor complaint = work out as much as I am able
muscle injury = modify workout to avoid further damage until healed
just feeling "blah" = quit whining and just do it!

I generally exercise even when I am sick but if my chest is congested then I will not exercise because I will just get worse. My biggest problem is that I have Diabetic neuropathy and that causes a shooting pain in my left leg, so on those days any kind of cardio is out and I end up weight lifting while sitting down if possible..

Symptoms above the neck, go ahead and workout, symptoms below the neck , rest and get better. As far as your symptoms, it sounds like you may have been dehydrated.
