What do you do when you have your weekly weighin and you've either stayed exactly the same or put a small amount on AND YET you've done everything right??

Sometimes I just suck it up and decide that our weight will always fluctuate!
Sometimes I get really disappointed and hope that I don't eat terribly because of that!

Honestly? I mope around being a bit grumpy and feeling a bit sorry for myself but I think there's no point undoing what I've done all week, so just carry on...bit of cranky weight lifting!

Just have to try and remind yourself you could very well be trading in a large amount of fat for a smaller portion of muscle. :) Inches lost is a better way of determining your progress than the number on the scale.

Most definitely! don't feel disheartened, it's not a race and your body will sometimes have a week as a plateau then drop a decent amount the next week! I had a friend who every second week would lose a great amount but the week inbetween would stay the same and she was doing nothing different! Keep your chin up, and look forward to another healthy week!

I break out the measuring tape (since muscle is smaller yet heavier than bodyfat). Also, women tend to retain water at a certain time of the month, so check the calendar. If there's no obvious reason for the unsatisfying weigh in, I check my calorie and carb intake. If it's too little, eat more; if it's too much (well, hello..lol).
