It's kinda scary, really, to know that our body can be so repulsed by healthy foods, oh what we do to our bodies....if we treated people the way we treat our bodies, we'd constantly be punching people in their throats, truly disgusting.....i'm a fan of clean eating, but healthy eating in general, should be a way of life and not something we should have to learn over again......but the farts you can let loose in the meantime, while the body adjusts.....just WOW! now is the time to get the hubby's head stuck under bed sheets...:laugh:0

it will! and then you will get that same yucky feeling when you start eating unhealthy foods. i had something fried at EVERY meal yesterday (the day was a splurge i'd been planning for) and i felt TERRIBLE at the end of the day. my body was like "WHY ARE YOU FEEDING ME THIS JUNK I DON'T LIKE IT!"
so you WILL get used to the better stuff, and your body will love you for it0 -
I was a bit that way my first week. It got much better. I actually get a sore tummy now if I have something that is not too good for me....hence I stay away from that and stick with healthy.....hang in there it will get better. Here try these you'll feel better :flowerforyou:0

I remember pooping green and having foul-smelling urine for a month after starting the healthy eating. Consulted a friend who said that was normal - body's getting rid of the godawful waste it had accumulated.
Now I have the same reaction to unhealthy food as abbylove had reported. Surprisingly, I can't think of having a regular chocolate bar without actually feeling ill (although having the Atkins bars don't have the same effect!).0 -
I have noticed the same as Abbylove, I thought it was just me....I can't even look at a piece of bacon without getting sick! WOW soo glad to know that's normal.:blushing:0

I've noticed a difference, too. My tummy gets really queasy if I eat something gross... Or even something with a higher salt content than usual-like air popped popcorn the other day with too much salt. My wedding bands, which were barely staying on my finger, started to get a little snug from the water retention... It's amazing how your body will tell you "to knock it off!!!" when you do something different...0

same way for me i dont even look at fast food anymore..one bite and I am a mess for a week with a ton of water weigh gain....:drinker: i still crave things like taco bell/popeyes but there is no way i will eat them knowing how it will have me feeling later0
