Good morning, Everyone,

I am new to this site, and very optimistic by what I am seeing. Over the last two years I have lost 50 lbs. on my own, and still have a long way to go. My Fitness Pal really seems ecouraging to me as everything is tracked and let's you know at a glance where you are and what you have to do to meet your goals.

Looking forward to being part of this community.

    I have been exercising with Leslie Sansone's 5 mile Fat Burning Walk for quite awhile with success, but have to admit it does bore me sometimes. I bought the Zumba workout tapes, and thought it would be worthwhile as I like to dance, and love Latin music. I have to say I really hated it. The instruction was very poor, and the music was nothing but Latin sounding techno garbage.

    Having noted the above, can someone share some other exercise tapes that they like. I would really like to see something with good music such as Latin or Motown. Any suggestions?

    How do I add people? And what does adding do?

    Click on their user name and then there is a button thing that says add as friend..... if you add somebody then you can share your progress.... decide if you want to let them see your food diary or not so they can help you out (in my case it's to make myself accountable) .... and write on peoples wall.

    I really like the Shred it workout by Jillian Michaels. Its a quick workout that makes you sweat!!! You might want to try your local library to see what they have before you buy.
