So, about 1 1/2 years ago my dad remarried... this lady has a lot of money (at least compared to what I grew up on).

Now for my brother's graduation, as a present we are going on a Mediterranean cruise (umm YES I realize that the news has been following that tipped ship, *trying not to think about that,* not my point!) ...I think I got 50 bucks when I graduated...

Anyway, my *actual* point here is that this will require me to take at least 2 weeks off of work. I'm already taking a vacation this February for a week, I took a week off last August to go visit family in Texas, and now I'm asking for more. (Edited to add, I ALSO took a week off last July to spend a week camping with my boyfriend's family).

I think this is too much!!! Not to mention I have to find my own coverage so begging the part timers is getting old.

Am I lazy? Should I just go for it? I feel guilty taking so much time off, even though I do have the earned hours/paid vacation time to cover it. My boss said we'll be able to figure it out but I'm fearing that everyone is like OMG this spoiled brat is taking ANOTHER vacation, what a lazy girl!!!!!!

If they're thinking that, they're just jealous. If your boss says it's okay and you have the means to do it, then why the heck not?
  • Trust me if you get chance to go on Holiday and work can support it then take it! The others might hate it but so what, trust me they would if they could!

If you have the time then use it,anyone that has an issue will find something else to gripe about and likely are the last ones that should ***** anyways.
