whats everyone's opinion on having the carnation breakfast start powder mixed in milk if you have no time for anything else.. or have nothing else for breaky? just reading the nutritional value it looks really good for you. I had some this morning and I'm still full.
I'm not a breakfast person but I think I could handle a yummy drink in the a.m whats everyone think?

I drink it too. Not every day, but when I choose it, it can keep me full. I use the sugar free kind. Had 150 calories plus fiber and protein. Then maybe a granola bar to go with. Shouldn't be a problem if you find it helpful for you.

I think people should do whatever works for them - we're all different. If you like it and it keeps you full, I say definitely make sure you always have some on hand.

If you're rushed, it's definitely better than nothing. If you typically don't like to eat breakfast it sounds like a good option for you to get your metabolism working in the morning. Just don't start drinking it as an addition to a meal, because the calories will add up fast.
  • I like it, my kids like it - but it's hiiiiigh in sugar. That's my only contention with it. Try the Atkins Day Break shakes - they are waaaaaaay better :) I drink them frequently in the morning b/c I can take it with me going out the door to get the kids to school!

I like it, but I get the sugar free version for lower calories. My stomach doesn't like it when I put food in it first thing in the morning. So it works well for me.

I keep them on hand for my busy mornings when I don't have time. My take on it is it is better than nothing or having a donut or something. Not as ideal as oatmeal and some fruit but you have to do what you have to do sometimes.
