Annoyed at myself and need reassuring

Hey guys.
I could use a little motivation today. I started my weightloss journey 21 weeks ago on my birthday in August and I've lost 21lbs so far.
My annoyance is the fact I slacked off around xmas and stayed the same for about 4/5 weeks. I feel like i've cheated myself out of time. By these figures my average is 1lb a week which has me on track to lose 51lbs by my birthday but I want to lose 63lbs. I know I can do it, i'm just frustrated that I have a very logical brain and looking at the figures makes me feel a little defeated because of all the Christmas time wasted etc.
Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled with what I have done, but being a bigger girl (started 213lbs and i'm only 5'3) it isn't quite showing really yet and I feel like 21 weeks is a long time to not feel like i've got very far...
I just need to re-focus and stick at it, but if anyone has any similar feelings please share and let me know i'm not alone. 21lbs is a lot of weight but I just don't feel like i'm getting anywhere at the moment. Some one slap some sense into me please!
Thanks

Meh, no slapping required. You already know what happened and how to fix it. Nothing left to do but to do it.
If it makes you feel any better, I'm in the same boat, but a bit worse. I was traveling for work for the last 3 months of 2011, and managed to regain 23 lbs of what I had lost.
Oh well, at least there's only 9 lbs left of it.0 -
Hi! you feel like it is a long time because you have a mission.....well you will get to where you want to be don't beat yourself up over it. You know everyone says we didn't gain over night, so losing 1 lb a week is FABULOUS, congrats on what you have accomplished so far.
When you feel down try and exercise I know it may sound silly, but I do this and then I feel great......keep your chin up and everything will be fine.0 -
I think your achievement so far is fantastic and I for one can say i'm really proud of you. You are a real fighter and dedicated to your cause and you will most definitely be at your goal by your birthday.
I agree with the other comments too, slow and steady won the race! You're not going backwards so stay focused and on track. If the calorie counting is getting you down then perhaps a new exercise regime could help kick start a few pound loss in a week to get you motivated again!!
I KNOW you can do it!0
