So I'm sitting here, burning calories because I'm on MFP and I hear a news bite about Burger King is now going to start delivery?!? Are you kidding? As if the triple whopper and biggie fries weren't enough, you can now get a heart attack brought right to your door. Seriously?!? **end rant**

If McDonald's started delivering, I'd just delete my account here, they're would be no hope.

Apparently, they have thermo-insulated packaging for transport to keep them "hot and fresh"...I foresee a lot of cold fries...

I give all my weight gain credit to McDonald's; used to eat it every night after high school... 20 lbs later, here I am.

I pretty much gave up BK, McD's, Wendy's, etc. many years ago. The smell of those places when I was pregnant made me sick and it never totally went away. And then I went veg and none of them offer very good and filling veg options, so I just stopped going unless I have absolutely no choice.

But I still love pizza and pizza places have always delivered, thus my pigout a couple Saturdays ago ....

This is one good thing about living in a small town. We're limited in our restaurant choices. No BK, no KFC, no Wendy's. Because if we did have a BK and they delivered, we'd probably eat it too much. I'm always forgetting to get dinner ready.

I swear I seem to remember McDonalds delivering a LONG time ago in Canada. It was way back when I was a kid, i think.

    Oh, wow.

I *love* BK. Like, an unholy desire. I do allow myself to get things from BK once in a great while- I figure it's something special and I can burn it off at the gym and with careful calorie management for the day.

But... delivery? I don't ever have anything delivered, so I guess I'm safe... but this is really a sad thing. Too lazy to get off your *kitten* and come to the drive-thru? It's okay! We'll deliver to you! Those people are the kind who have to get cut out of their houses and have their couches surgically removed from their bodies.

Yet another case of a fast food chain forcing people to eat their food, and forcing them to choose menu options that don't fit into their calorie goals.

    *kitten*.

It's been at least 5 years since I ate at BK. 2 Years since I have eaten at any fast food joint.

Cooking is fun; it's social. I love spending time in the kitchen with friends and family. Fast food reminds me of eating dinner standing over the sink. Depressing.

Since it's BK, I just want all of the delivery drivers to dress up like the creepy-*kitten* Burger King guy from the commercials when they deliver.

I live in Colombia and can have pretty much anything delivered to my house. Burger King, McDonalds, cigarettes, liquor, groceries, pharmacy....the list goes on.

That said, I have ordered pizza and sushi a few times, but not the rest. Like the old saying goes, "You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink."

    SELF CONTROL, PEOPLE!

I guess you either never take road trips or when you do, you have time to stop for sit-downs. :-)

Seriously, do people really have so little self control that this will affect their healthy living? Yes, as they literally take our money and force the food down our throats. We have NO say in what we eat!

    O wait...

Fortunately, the Pizza Hut in my town sucks. The last pizza I ordered arrived 2 hours after I ordered it. On my third call, and third time they said "he should be right there" I told them I didn't want a pizza that had been riding around Ruston for an hour and a half. I tried to order once after that (figuring I'd give them a second chance) but nobody would answer the phone.

I eat what I want, just trying to keep it to smaller servings. And I'm working out like a feind.

There used to be a delivery service that would practically go to any restaurant/food joint and order your food and deliver it to you.
They had menu's from all the local places online. Delivery people had insulated bags to keep it warm.
Good way to go after having a few drinks and not wanting to go anywhere.
