ODD way to burn a few extra calories! What are yours?

Since I have an office job, I do a good deal of sitting! I decided I could sneak in a few extra calories burned by bringing in one of those little bike pedal things that you can put under your desk... I definitely am a little embarrassed about it, and kind of feel like a little kid on a tricycle at work... and I don't count it as my main work out, I don't count whatever calories I do burn doing this, I still go to the gym, but I figure every little extra bit helps! What are some of your odd extra mini work outs that you squeeze in?

    I have an office job also. I do a lot of sitting. I take my leg press to work with me. When I'm sitting at my desk I work my thighs by using the leg press. I don't count that in my exercise for the day. I still go to the gym. But like you stated every little bit helps.
    I had knee surgery last month and I have not been able to go to the gym for a month and half.But i was able to get back in there lats night and it felt GREAT! Worked out for an hour.

    Everywhere I go, I park as far away as possible then walk to the place. Works great in food stores where everyone else is playing that dumb "how close can I park to the door" game. I'm usually parked, walked, and inside the store before they even find a spot. :-)

    I've found that having a resistance band (one of those cheap $10 reebok ones) is great for when I'm just couching it watching TV. You can sit there and do all manner of little exercises with it without really noticing. My resistance band is my buddy.

    i do jumping jacks in the bathroom(it is only a 1 person kind) and i do situps in the back office
  • Too funny,i also park far,and do jumping jacks at random lol...it makes for a good laugh when someone sees me too!

    lol glad to see i'm not the only one that sneaks in those little extras even though its a little embarrassing when we get caught! lol

    I also have an office job. I will go for a walk up and down the hallway, up and down the stairs a few times a day. I also have a 45 minute commute. I do butt and ab squeezes while in the car. I actually noticed a little difference in my butt when I first started doing this!
