Cardio Endurance Training.

This is a great way to get your heart pumping!

The link below is an info-graph on a walking/jogging routine that can help improve your overall cardio endurance:

Before I started, I modified it a bit to let my body adjust to the jogging:

40 minutes
8 x [4mins 30secs walk + 30secs Jogging]

Then I slowly progressed to:

40 minutes
8 x [4mins 15secs walk + 45secs Jogging]

(I do this twice daily :explode: )


After getting my body re-adjusted to the jogging, I started the routine outlined in the graph:

20 minutes
8 x [1min 30secs walk / 1min jog].

NB: Personally, I prefer to walk before jogging; it helps warm-up. :glasses:

    This link is a nice building running plan. I wish it mentioned a 5 minute walk to warm up then stretch before beginning each session, as well as a nice stretch after. Stretching is the only thing that keeps me injury free while running. Thanks for the post!
