Tampoline???

So, I have heard that jumping on a mini trampoline can really, really, really help with weight loss. I, someone who absolutely can't stand the sight of even the word exercise, am curious if this is true. Obviously, it isn't going to tone the way I would like to be toned, so there's that. But what about weight loss itself. If I do that in addition to the strength training, would I be successful? I mean, jumping on a trampoline for an hour or so seems so ideal and easy, I feel it's actually to simple to be true. Thoughts?
PS-I love ZUMBA, so I will be sneaking that in there too!
