Green Tea=Water???

I get soo bored of water all the time, but I've found I love a hot cup of green tea. Is it alright to replace some of my regular water with green tea and still consider it part of my "8 glasses" a day???

There really isn't much caffeine in it, and it acts a metabolism booster, too. I try to drink a pint of water when I wake, and 2-3 cups before noon. After then, I switch to herbal tea or water.
Like most things, green tea is healthy in moderation.0
